The valve is made of brass using the hot forging method and is nickel-plated. Ball valves use a cylindrical pipe thread of class "A" in accordance with standards (ISO 228/2, ISO 7/2). The valves are used in pipelines made from various materials. To seal threaded connections, it is necessary to use plumbing flax with anaerobic sealant, polyamide thread, or PTFE tape. The valve must not be used for transporting media that are aggressive to the materials of its components.
